I do not believe in soul mates, or this notion that there is one single person out there for everyone. I believe that each person can be compatible with many different people, and if two people who are compatible are given the time and opportunity (and are willing to make the effort) they can fall in love and build a wonderful relationship with each other. So, if that relationship were to end for some reason, given the time to heal and the willingness to move on, a loving bond could eventually be formed with a new person.
I do believe that each love is unique. I don’t believe that people could fall in love with someone, and then later have the same feelings for another person. But rather that they would love the new person in a different way.
